I started raising chickens in June 2022 with 6 rescue hens! I had to learn fast how to help them grow! I now have a humble start up with 7 hens and 1 rooster! Follow me and my homesteading journey as I give you tips and tricks I am learning along the way! My ultimate goal is to become certified 100% for hatching and raising pure breed Yokohama's for shows.

It all started with a phone call to pick up a 10 x 10 dog kennel with 6 hens. We had talked about getting chickens but I dove head first into this adventure that day! I have had set backs but am always going to work towards the brighter future!
